Banana Cake 2 cup flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup milk 1 ½ cup sugar 2 eggs 1 cup mashed bananas 1/2 cup walnuts 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. vinegar Sift flour once and measure. Add dry ingredients and sift 3 times. Cream butter and sugar and beat until light. Add eggs and best well. Add nuts and bananas, alternating with flour. Add vanilla. Stir vinegar into milk and add to the rest. Bake in loaf pan at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. And there you have it, your cake is finished. Banana Split Cake 2 cup graham cracker crumbs 3 sticks butter, not margarine 2 cup powdered sugar 1 #1 can crushed pineapple(approx. 14 oz.) 2 eggs 1 regular size cool whip 4 bananas, sliced maraschino cherry halves slivered almonds To make this cake, melt 1 stick butter. Combine with graham cracker crumbs and press into 13x6x2 inch pan. For a full 15 minutes (no less), beat powdered sugar, eggs and 2 sticks of butter. Pour on top of graham cracker mixture. Drain pineapple and spread. Put on a layer of sliced bananas. Top with cool whip. Decorate and garnish with the cherries and slivered almonds. Store in refrigerator until read to serve.
