Delicious Breakfast Recipes

Aunt Dot's Drop Biscuits
These are very simple to make!

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Mix the milk, oil and flour together.
Divide into six equal portions and shape into biscuits.
Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
Serve with butter and preserves. Fantastic!!










Egg and Sausage Bake
Serves 6
  • 1 pound bulk pork saugsage
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1 cup shredded chedder cheese (4 oz)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 6 eggs slightly beaten
Cook the sausage on medium heat and then drain.
Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
Mix sausage and remaining ingredients.
Pour into the casserole dish, cover and refrigerate for 4 hours (no longer than 24 hours).
Heat your oven to 350 degrees and bake uncovered about 1 hour or until a knife comes out clean.










Breakfast Casserole
  • 1 (16 oz) package ground pork breakfast sausage
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (4.5 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 pound tater tots, thawed (I use the ones with onion)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (If you like cheese, add more)
Place sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees, lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, soup and milk. Stir in the sausage and mushrooms. Pour into a prepared baking dish. Add tater tots, distributing them evenly in the casserole.

Bake in preheated over for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle on cheese. Bake an additional 10 - 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and brown.
