Peanut Butter Cookies 1 cup shortening 1 1/4 cup peanut butter 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 2 1/2 cup flour Salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda Mix shortening and peanut butter. Add sugars; beat well. Beat in eggs. Mix flour, salt and soda; stir into peanut butter mixture. Make dough into small balls; put on baking pan. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Yield is 4-5 dozen cookies. Peanut Butter Drop Cookies 2 cups brown sugar 2 eggs 1 1/4 cup shortening 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup water 4 cups flour, sifted 1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon salt Chunky peanut butter Cream brown sugar, eggs and shortening. Add vanilla and water. Add sifted dry ingredients. On greased cookie sheet, drop spoonfuls of cookie dough, 1/2 teaspoon chucky peanut butter on top of each and another 1/2 teaspoon cookie dough as top layer. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Yield: 5 dozen. Honey Peanut Butter Cookies 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg, well beaten 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon soda 1/2 cup chopped dates 1/2 cup chopped nuts 1 6-oz. package chocolate chips Cream butter, honey and sugar together until light and fluffy; add well-beaten eggs. Add peanut butter and salt. Stir in flour and soda sifted together; mix well. Add remaining ingredients; form into small balls of dough. Placed on greased cookie sheet; press with a fork. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen cookies. Peanut Butter Cookies to Cooking Recipes
