Be a Picture Hanger - Now It Is Quick and Easy
It is simply two aluminum rails approximately 26 inches long with two plastic caps 4 inches long on each end. It has three sliding position markers and two bubble markers - one horizontal and one vertical. HERE’S HOW YOU USE IT FOR YOUR PICTURE HANGING
I picked this device up on a clearance rack at one of the big boxes for just a few dollars. I bought it more out of curiosity than anything else. This tool has proven itself a worthy tool for those times I have needed to hang a picture. It makes the job go really fast. The other method I used for years to hang pictures that required two mounting points was to carefully measure the distances between the two points. Then I would mark one side and then the other using a level across the two points or sometimes a straight board and torpedo level. A POINT TO REMEMBER:Measuring up from the floor or down from the ceiling does not mean the picture will be level. The next time you are in a big box store, look around! I have found many useful things to help me get a project completed faster and easier. Now, on to my next project.
